A soil profile sampler gives greenkeepers and agronomists a clear, open view of the soil profile. Use it to examine rootzone, thatch and soil layers, investigate compaction, check root depth and diagnose turf health problems on golf greens, tees and fairways.

How to use it

1. Place the sampler on the turf.
2. Apply firm foot pressure to the footplate to drive the blade in.
3. Pull back on the handle to lever the sample out.
4. Remove the blade to inspect the profile.
5. Replace the plug and tamp down lightly.
